Make no mistake, these illegal orders are a blatant attempt to override our Constitution and duly enacted laws. While some of the orders have been paused for now, chaos, fear and uncertainty at the federal level will no doubt continue.

This is a moment unlike any we have ever faced, but Clean Wisconsin will stand strong to protect Wisconsin families from these reckless efforts to roll back progress. For 55 years, our legal, science, and policy expertise has brought lasting environmental protections for everyone in Wisconsin, and we will continue to fight for clean air, clean water, and a healthy climate. As Trump seeks to weaken federal protections, Clean Wisconsin’s state and local work will be more critical than ever.

The Trump Administration has also attacked diversity, equity, and inclusion, but Clean Wisconsin remains committed to these values. Everyone deserves clean water, breathable air, and a healthy community.
