As the Development Manager, Ryan is responsible for major gifts, outreach, and member engagement. Ryan aims to ensure that engaged members of Clean Wisconsin are supporting the organization’s mission in a manner they value. Having grown up in northern Wisconsin, Ryan developed a deep appreciation for Wisconsin’s natural beauty at an early age, especially the state’s many lakes and streams.
Ryan graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in May of 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. After spending two years in K-12 public education and coaching high school football and basketball for his hometown of Rhinelander, he worked for UW-Madison Office of Letters & Science Career Initiatives and Career Services, ensuring operations of the office ran smoothly.
A summer trip to the boundary waters in 2010 reaffirmed Ryan’s love of fishing and the outdoors. During the summer you can find Ryan walking or running his golden retriever along through various trails in the Madison area as well as enjoying the plentiful lakes of the Northwoods.
Favorite things to do outdoors in Wisconsin: Fishing, exploring Madison with my dog, enjoying the Northwoods lakes.
