As the Strategic Communications Manager, Jacob works to integrate campaign priorities into Clean Wisconsin’s public communications. Jacob oversees publication of the Defender, EcoBriefs and Action Alerts, among other communications products. Jacob also provides strategies and creative support to ensure all of Clean Wisconsin’s programs tell a unified story of the organizations work and mission.
Jacob has a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies & philosophy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with an academic emphasis on environmental ethics. Prior to joining Clean Wisconsin, Jacob worked in environmental health communications for the Clark County Public Health Department in Washington State. Jacob also gained experience working for the UW Center for Limnology, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, and the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.
