As the Green Infrastructure Program Associate, Barbara Pierson works closely with the Green Infrastructure Manager to assist in project management of Clean Wisconsin’s green-infrastructure outreach work in Milwaukee. Barbara coordinates community events and educational workshops with residents, neighborhood leaders and service providers, and related organizations to educate community members about the need for and benefits of green infrastructure.
Barbara has her bachelor’s degree in Education and Sociology from Marquette University and is finishing up her Master of Natural Resource degree at UW-Stevens Point. With three years of teaching experience and two years working in the non-profit sector, Barbara is excited to join the Clean Wisconsin Team!
