Paul Mathewson has significant experience working and studying many areas of environmental science and law.
As an undergraduate he majored in Biology with a concentration in Environmental Science and worked as field biologist for several years, conducting wildlife surveys and studying environmental contamination using wildlife as indicator species.
Mathewson completed a dual degree graduate program at the University of Wisconsin with the Law School and the Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies’ Environment and Resources program. He received his Ph.D. at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, researching methods to predict the impact of climate change on animal distributions.
He uses this scientific expertise at Clean Wisconsin to conduct research analysis in support of the air, energy and water programs.
