Glenn Reinl is a CPA who loves living in the Midwest. He received his B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to retirement in 2006, Glenn was Chief Financial Officer for Shared Medical Services, a provider of mobile MRI and PET/CT medical scanners to hospitals and clinics in the Midwest and southern U.S. Glenn is also on the board of directors of Groundswell Conservancy and on a committee of the Clean Lakes Alliance.
Glenn believes that the earth provides a way for us to connect to what is really important in our lives, and that, therefore, protecting the earth is one of our greatest responsibilities. Since retirement, he and a close friend have spent ten electricity and running water-free days each winter in “the shack” in the center of the Nicolet National Forest. Glenn enjoys many outdoor activities, including ice skating, canoeing, cross-country skiing, hiking, and biking (especially as transportation). In 2021, Glenn and his wife canoed more than 450 river miles. When not outdoors, Glenn takes voice lessons, and enjoys practicing piano, reading and playing bridge. Glenn has two adult children and lives on east side of Madison with his wife, Sara Krebsbach.
