Carl A. Sinderbrand is a senior partner at the law firm of Axley Brynelson, LLP. His practice focuses on environmental, construction, commercial, and regulatory matters, with particular emphasis on protection of Wisconsin’s water resources and associated ecosystems. He has represented parties before regulatory agencies, in arbitrations and trials, and in appellate courts, including several cases in the WI Supreme Court. He also serves as an arbitrator and mediator.
Carl received his B.A. from Oberlin College and his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison Law School. Before entering private practice, he served as an Assistant Attorney General, primarily practicing environmental law. He has been a board member and chair of various environmental organizations, including the State Bar of Wisconsin Environmental Law Section, Dane County Lakes and Watershed Commission, Clean Wisconsin, and Wisconsin Wetlands Association. He also has been recognized repeatedly by the “Best Lawyers in America™,” “Wisconsin Super Lawyers,” and other legal professional organizations.
